"I have known Mark at Western Differential 20 years. I have had Western rebuild a differential for me in the past. I now live in Oceanside, California and my differential on an older truck needed repairs. I took the truck to the dealer and they gave me a quote of $3800.00. I called Mark and asked if he would look over the quote they gave me. He asked for a picture of the differential from the mechanic at the dealer. I sent the picture over to Mark via phone. Mark called another differential shop here in Oceanside to help me out. I took the differential to that shop. They did the work and saved me $2000.00. Not kidding! He saved me $2000.00
-Thanks Mark."
Rene Redondo (2015)

"My name is Rene R. Redondo and I'm a client of Western Differential. They fixed my grandson’s 2003 Ford Expedition and my two Hot Rods, a 27 Ford Model T Touring and a 31 Chevy 2 door Sedan.

They correctly diagnosed the differential problem on the 2003 Expedition as a problem with the old and inadequate oil lacking additives and saved me a bunch of money.

On the 27 Ford, they completely rebuilt the brakes with new disc brakes in front, wheel cylinders on rear drum brakes, new master cylinder and proportioning valve, completely new brake lines throughout. It turned out magnificent. I then asked them to redo the front steering which the replaced the obsolete rack and pinion steering with a brand new one that required several modifications and machining to make it work. It turned out great. I then asked them to review the rear ladder bars since we were out of adjustment required to correct the driveshaft angle that was out of tolerance. The new ladder bars worked terrific. I am totally pleased with the end result.

On the 31 Chevy, I was having trouble with a rear axle seal leak. We discovered that the entire rear end was tweaked and elected to replace the entire rear end with a new Ford 9 inch and rear disc brakes. During testing, the master cylinder was found to be defective and the system was plumbed incorrectly. A power booster and master cylinder was installed along with new brake lines throughout. The parking brake cable system had to be re-engineered. The finished product is very good.

I recommend Western Differential whole heartedly."

"Just wanted to say thanks, and tell you how pleased I am with the work done on the car. You and your mechanics are consummate professionals, you communicated with me every step of the way, and explained every detail of the work you did."

Ray & Darline Melton (2001)

"Thank you so much for telling me I would be happy with the 4:56 gears over the 4:10 and we are. The quality of work you do there will be shared with all my RV friends. Work was done on 05/04/2001 and we thank you all for working late to get us on the road."

Sandra Thompkins (1996)
"Thank you for the great job you folks did with my Jeep Cherokee. I had brought it in shortly before Christmas - you had estimated the total to be several hundred dollars. It turned out that it needed an additive of some kind. The total was less than forty dollars.
Some places would have gone ahead and made unnecessary repairs and charged me the estimated amount. You folks are honest and I appreciate that. I have already suggested you to friends that may bring in their vehicles.
Thanks again - if I ever need this type of work done again I would not take my car anywhere else."

"I have been recommended by another car shop in Tucson to see Mark at Western Differential for a rebuild on my differential. Mark gave me good information and did not try and up sell anything I did not need."
